Eduardo Montejo addressed, in the session given in the Master in Applied Law of LaLiga Business School, the problems of tax issues related to the transfer of players. The session dealt with issues such as the tax residence of players in a globalized soccer environment, the different tax treatment of image rights in the main leagues or the tax effects derived from the payment of agency fees or the payment of termination clauses.
