Our Partner Julio Senn moderates a table of professional athletes at the University of Navarra

Luis Figo, Cesar Azpilicueta, Eli Pinedo and Julio Garcia Mera filled the Aula Magna of the headquarters of the University of Navarra in Madrid on April 24 in a talk moderated by our Partner Julio Senn.

Framed within the course of Sport Management of the University of Navarra that pilots the Faculty of Economics, they talked about the day after the athlete. They talked, among other topics, about the psychological and mental process to face a retirement. In addition, they focused on the importance of the training aspect in the elite athlete, on how essential it is to stop and think, and on knowing how to surround oneself with trustworthy people in financial and business advice.

They also stressed that the values acquired in sport, such as teamwork, effort and the pressure of high competition, are the basis for the next step, for the day after the athlete.

A training meeting that was very entertaining and that puts colophon to the course that next year will have a new edition and perhaps new immersions in specialized training in Business Administration focused on Professional Sport.
