Our Mexican office develops projects to support High-Performance Sports

Through the Tax Stimulus for High-Performance Sports (EFIDEPORTE, for its Spanish acronym), our Mexican office develops projects to support High-Performance athletes on their way to both the Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games as well as the following Olympic cycle: Central American and Caribbean Games, Pan-American Games, and the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

These projects are achieved through contributions from individuals or legal entities which, upon being assessed with a payable income, decide to allocate a percentage of said payable amount to projects for the training of high-performance athletes or investment in sports infrastructure.

During the ordinary period from February 15 to March 15, 2021, high performance projects were submitted to support three Mexican swimmers who are seeking their qualification for the Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games as well as a horsewoman who competes in “Dressage”, who is currently qualified for the present Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games, expecting to obtain approval for both projects by the inter-institutional committee in charge of analyzing and evaluating their feasibility.
