José María Zayas Prado is a Partner of Senn, Ferrero, Asociados Sports & Entertainment México, S.C. and is specialized in sports and entertainment law, with extensive experience in matters related to (i) the hiring of professional athletes, (ii) national and international transfers, (iii) structuring and execution of complex commercial operations (mergers and acquisitions) , and (iv) the defense and management as an employer's attorney in proceedings before all kinds of jurisdictional and administrative bodies and arbitration tribunals in the field of sports and entertainment.

He began his professional career as a corporate lawyer, specializing in the field of financial law (banking and stock market) working for two of the main law firms in Mexico, Martínez, Algaba, de Haro, Curiel and Galván-Duque, S.C. (now Martínez, Algaba, de Haro y Curiel, S.C.) and Creel, García-Cuéllar, Aíza y Enríquez, S.C.

He was part of Senn, Ferrero, Asociados Sports & Entertainment, S.L.P. (where he did a professional internship and later joined as a full-time associate) since the beginning of 2017, and is now part of Senn, Ferrero, Asociados Sports & Entertainment México, S.C. since its constitution in mid-2018.

He has participated as a lawyer in multiple complex operations for different individuals and legal entities within the sports and entertainment sectors. Likewise, he has written and collaborated in several publications specialized in those sectors and has participated as a teacher in specialized courses and diplomas in soccer law, including, but not limited to, his most recent participation in the Football Law Diploma organized by the Central School of Law.
